A Cold War action comedy: in 1987 Ryan Reynolds’ cocky Navy pilot is shot down over Siberia and has to get out with Soviet security on his tail. The camera work is genuinely good. The Soviet Union it is set in, though, is hard to believe and a bit overdone.
