A group of teenagers on their last night together, replaying formative memories to a period playlist — from Beethoven & Dinosaur, the studio behind The Artful Escape. More an interactive experience than an actual game. The nostalgia lands even if you did not grow up in the USA — the vibe comes straight out of the teen movies we all watched, and the problems you have at that age are the same wherever you live. A solid 3, but very much an acquired taste: it will not click with everyone.

A fantastic entry in the series. Playing as Grace Ashcroft is an absolute highlight — her storyline is fresh, tense, and well-crafted throughout. Leon’s abandoned city section was the one weak spot: pointless backtracking that felt directionless and out of place. But that’s a minor complaint — the game overall is one of the best Resident Evil titles in years.

Hellblade II impresses with its visual detail and sound design, creating a powerful atmosphere and deep emotional impact. Despite criticism for repetitive combat and limited player agency, the game stands out for its strong narrative and cinematic quality, honestly and vividly portraying the inner world of the main character.

Second Death Stranding is an atmospheric and unusual game that really impressed me with its visuals — the graphics are excellent. Even if you don’t plan to play, you should definitely watch how Tommorow fights the mech-ghosts, how one of the characters dances in the oil, and how the main villain and the main hero have a guitar duel — it’s a spectacle worth seeing.

A captivating story with unexpected twists, stunning visual style, and dynamic turn-based combat in the spirit of Final Fantasy. The game creates a unique atmosphere where each battle is a true test of tactical thinking. If you enjoyed this game, you might want to try more classic turn-based RPGs like Battle Chasers: Nightwar or Sea of Stars.

This game impressed me with its atmosphere and captivating lore. These elements truly stand out, creating a unique and immersive experience. However, the shooting mechanics felt average, and the repetitive level design with constant backtracking became frustrating. The ending of the main game was also a letdown—open-ended conclusions just feel unsatisfying. On the bright side, the DLCs that came out later, especially Lake House, were excellent.

This game series has been with me since childhood. The first part made a huge impression on me, but the second one was truly a masterpiece. Unfortunately, the third part was disappointing, but with the release of the fourth, I found my perfect match again. Its style and dark atmosphere fully capture the essence of the second game. I’m especially thrilled with the return to Kurast, in the new expansion — the city of eternal rain. It’s a return to the series’ roots, and I couldn’t ask for more!

Delivers with two Spideys—why settle for one? Smooth tag-team action, plus playing as Venom? Perfection! Fast, fun, and the web-slinging is better than ever. It’s a blockbuster! If you have a PS, just try it—it’s really good.

The game builds on its predecessor with deeper storytelling and richer character development, though some side quests can feel less engaging. Despite minor flaws, it delivers an immersive experience that is both ambitious and rewarding.

Capcom’s ground-up remake of the 1998 original, rebuilding Raccoon City in the RE Engine and moving the camera over the shoulder. Probably one of the best remakes made during the whole return-to-the-classics wave. Very cool.

Run and gun from Studio MDHR, animated cel by cel in the style of 1930s cartoons, with watercolour backgrounds and a live jazz score. A seriously hard challenge — and the art style is absolutely stunning.

Capcom’s reboot of the series into first person, trapping you in the Baker family’s rotting estate in rural Louisiana. I think this is my favourite Resident Evil — I even played it through twice. The atmosphere and the setting are what got me.

Naughty Dog’s send-off for Nathan Drake, chasing a pirate fortune from Scotland to Madagascar to the lost colony of Libertalia. The best adventure the games industry has ever created. Naughty Dog were simply at their peak at that moment.

Rocksteady’s close to the Arkham trilogy — one long night in a Gotham evacuated by Scarecrow, with the Batmobile finally in your hands. The best Batman there has been, full stop.

CD Projekt Red’s open-world RPG — Geralt of Rivia’s final contract, plus the Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine expansions. It took me two years to get through it. The expansions I liked a lot — but I am not getting myself into this a second time.
